Our Mission

Founded by Faizel Ahmed, the AQC Foundation was established on 16 May 2014 at 29 O.R. Tambo Parade, South Beach, Durban 4001, South Africa. We are committed to serving those in need through:

• Caring for orphans, the destitute, the elderly, and the disabled
• Providing hunger relief, water relief, healthcare, and education support
• Offering winter relief and emergency disaster aid
• Engaging in social community policing in partnership with the South African Police Services

Independence & Funding

AQC Foundation is not funded by the South African government nor by the National Lotteries Commission since its establishment in 2014. We deeply appreciate the kind and generous support of the public in helping us continue our mission.

Despite no default by the organisation, land use and land donation applications were declined by the South African government. Nevertheless, we remain committed to serving humanity.

Compliance & Transparency

• Registered with the Department of Social Development South Africa (NPO: 138-493)
• Registered with the South African Revenue Services (Income Tax: 9309875186, PBO: 930049897)
• All donations, including cash, online, charity tins, and goods, are declared to the Department of Social Development
• No board members receive salaries or benefits from the foundation since its establishment
• 100% Charity – Every contribution directly benefits those in need

Our Independence

• Not affiliated with any political parties
• Not associated with any terror-linked organisations for security reasons
• Open to public inquiries and welcomes investigations by law enforcement authorities
